Instructional Design 3D
For this brief, our task was to develop an instructional design in 3D, either physical or digital. This challenge was particularly intriguing due to the theme's nature. Designing instructions can be quite challenging when the concept is not clearly defined. Thus, this project provided an opportunity to think creatively and step outside the conventional boundaries. From conceptualizing an entire brand identity to curating the objects within the final kit, every aspect required meticulous consideration. Without well-defined objects, crafting instructions becomes nearly impossible. Hence, I delved into ensuring the legibility of items, maintaining cohesiveness within the theme, and designing multiple sets of instructions to tie everything together seamlessly.
This project proved to be an engaging journey of exploration, ultimately leading to the development and execution of the final concept. I take great pride in the outcome, as it encapsulates elements of dark humor within an otherwise mundane environment. This infusion of unexpected humor adds a unique and surprising dimension, particularly within the context of the corporate world.
The culmination of this project resulted in the creation of the "Corporate Survival Kit," featuring ordinary items and concepts elevated to a heightened level. These elements resonate deeply with many individuals, striking a chord and prompting a sense of relatability while simultaneously pushing boundaries.
