For this course project, we were tasked with designing a new, original book cover for "Alice's Adventures in Wonderland" by Lewis Carroll. This proved to be a challenging endeavor due to the vast array of book covers and artwork already associated with the book. The images below showcase my entire A3 sketchbook, which was scanned to document the extensive process work, research, and exploration undertaken in creating the artwork for this project. A wide variety of materials were utilized to bring this endeavor to fruition, including pens, pencils, acrylics, watercolor, fine liners, digital tablets, and more. Throughout the process, various art styles were considered before arriving at the final concept.
