Entry 2: Looking at Social Engagement Narrative in Visual Storytelling
This week, I delved into the concept of Social Engagement Narrative in our visual storytelling module. This form of narrative transcends traditional storytelling, incorporating elements like podcasts, games, and interactive activities to engage diverse audiences. It’s a powerful tool for addressing social issues while making complex topics more approachable.
During our workshop, we explored potential topics and identified our target audiences. I was particularly drawn to tackling eating disorders in a compassionate, less medicalized manner. This experience clarified how I can make a meaningful impact while fostering important conversations. I'm excited to pursue this project further!
